Bolt scores
The bookmaker table
Every book we list, scored in bolts from 1 to 5 on the 4 things a bettor checks before depositing. The ones that take sports bets come first.
How a book earns its bolts
- 01Board depthHow much there is to bet on. A full sportsbook with in-play scores highest, a lottery courier lowest.
- 02Opening offerThe welcome deal as the operator lists it, weighed against the terms attached to it.
- 03CashoutThe ways to pay in and out, and what the operator's own listing says about withdrawals.
- 04Licence trailWho licenses the book and how long it has traded.
The Bolt score is the plain average of the 4, trimmed to 2 decimals.
Takes sports bets
Sportsbooks, and casinos with a sportsbook inside the same account.
The # is the book's place on the whole table, both groups together.
